writes:My grandma passed away last week (Tuesday) from cancer. I was somewhat prepared for this, but not really cuz she seemed alright even though she was very weak. Last night I had a dream that I was in Florida, which is where my grandma and auntie live, in their house that they moved in from brooklyn in January 2007. In my dream, we were in the house in the kitchen and I saw my grandma. She looked the same, with just the same little hair cuz she lost it all when she was going for chemotherapy. When I last saw her in the hospital the day before she died, she looked very weak and lost a lot of weight. But in my dream, she looked about a foot taller and muscular and put on her good weight (not fat) like she was before the cancer. So in my dream I saw her like that and she had these big silver high-healed shoes that were sparkly that probably made her appear taller. And so I asked her "Why are you here, I thought you were dead?" She said "I was on my way to heaven, but I realized how much you miss me amd stopped off on the way." We started walking and hugging each other and it felt so real! Then she told me thst she really has to go. I saw her take a deep breath, and clossed her eyes. I tapped on my mom's shoulder and told her, "Look, I think this is the end! I think shes preparing us!" She breathed out and I got scared knowing that this might be the end. But she didn't go anywhere. I looked at the time and it said 9:11. I looked at it again and it said 9:14. I asked my grandma "How come ur not gone yet?" But she didnt answer me. She was walking out to the balcony and 1 of my aunt's friends opened the sliding door for her. She walked out and sat down. I was thinking to myself tht maybe she wanted to be alone when she died. I woke up for real now. And i couldnt remember if she was dead or alive and then I remembered she was dead. Cuz sometimes I had dreams abt her dying when she was still alive. Me and my grandma had a very tight relationship since i was little. Since I wasnt really prepared for her death (like i was somewat but not rlly) do u think she came into my dream to say good bye, or is it just my conscience? If she did come back, do you know how they can do that and if when they come into ur dream do they come back just to see u or do they rlly see wats going on in ur dream as well??? Sorry if this was to long and thanx!!!
