hi people I have this friend that i see as more than a friend. we've got really close lately but the only problem is that he is in love with this girl and he sees himself as a big brother to me. i understand i can't ever be more than a friend to him but it hurts so much. i hate it when he's with her. i just want to know how i can get over him.

I went through this with my best guy friend. The only way my heart stopped hurting was when I stopped being his best friend and saw him less. It sucks but until you fall for another guy, your heart will continue to ache for him.
