Maybe go to the doctors just in case if it doesn't clear up in a couple days

Hey sweetness,
Not normal for your body, unfortunately. Well, it is "normal" - lots of women get this feeling in their vaginal area and go off to the doctors. So you're not alone in your discomfort... but, get yourself to the doctor and see what's up! You may just have an infection, or it could be something a little worse, like and STI. Make that appointment!

hey there,
it sounds like you may have an infection around the vaginal area. i would be concerned because it is your body, and i would definitely recommend getting yourself checked by your doctor. it wouldn't hurt to know what it is. good luck!!!!

It sounds like a yeast infection. When you see the doctor, tell her/him what you told us.
Since sex and this infection are both new to you, do not treat it yourself with an over-the-counter product.

You should go visit your doctor for a check up.
It could be genital herpes.http://www.medicinenet.com/sexually_transmitted_diseases_stds_in_women/page4.htm#gh
