reader, anonymous, writes (6 June 2008): i was in 16 years old too before, i was really, really in love to my school mate, and i knew 100% that he like me too, the problem is he has this girl friend, so i was thinking., if this guy will like me too at the same time he has his girl friend, well he is swimming in two river.. no i dont wanna be a part of his list.. i will keep dreaming to be his girl friend but i wont do it in real life.. and i dont wanna hurt other woman just for my own sake. i feel sad, sometimes i cry but i stand to my decision.. that happen before, now im 36 years old, when im thinking of my past, i just smile because i realise" i was a normal girl who eperience the what they called puppy love... good luck dear......

 Put yourself in her shoes. How would you feel if some girl had the hots for your fella and persued him?? You would be furious I should think.
Its hard when you are infatuated to let it go but you really do need to, if he knocks you back you will only get hurt.
My advice is to wait, if he is as young as you chances are he may not be with her long, relationships tend to not last as long when you are younger. if he becomes single again make your move x

if he has a girlfriend, leave him alone !
don't ruin other peoples relationships, for your own selfish reasons.
if he's not happy with her, then he will leave her soon enough, and then there's your chance.
but until then back off
