writes:I have been dating a guy who i really like but i don't know what to do we don't spend much time together and he don't always text back we have been together for about 3 weeks and i have only seen him face to face 2 times for about 2 hours each time he told me when i met him he didn't have a lot of time for a relationship right now but he ask me out and i said sure cuz we get along great but he don't text back much some times he texts back a lot.he has broke plans with me 2 time then the third he changed the plans to squeeze me in when he breaks plans he always says hes sorry and he even said he dont want to hurt me. but now hes not making any contact and i send him messages noting back and it drives me crazy cuz idk what to do i like him a lot but i want to trust hes busy its strange we live a hour away from each other and i have no license what should i do is he in to me or what is the deal?

reader, anonymous, writes (11 April 2009): He doesn't sound very vested in you to me. Here's the thing, and this is pretty close to a universal truth, excuses aside. If someone is feeling you, they WILL make time for you, no matter how busy they are.It sounds to me like you are feeling him way more than he does you. Don't fall into that pitfall!
