My Story: Ive been with this guy now for well over a year, I gave up everything for him to move interstate so he could be round his family and friends and Ive given my absolute all to the relationship. About 6 months ago I checked his email to find he was speaking to some chick he had hooked up with in the past arranging a secret booty call. I nearly left but decided 1 chance. He no longer uses his email only his work one. He has been going for drinks for 2 or so hours after work every friday now (yes he comes home smelling of alcohol) but im still very suss...our sex life has also become rare and on the verge of boring...no kissing nothing...just straight to the point, and this is not by my choice. Does anyone have any advice for me...how can i find out if im over reacting or if he really is cheating. i dont want to waste more time if thats what im doing?

A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom +, writes (27 June 2008):

If I were you I wouldn't bother trying to catch him in the act or anything like that.

I would just let him come home late from the pub after work to find a note saying you've gone and lots of empty wardrobe space.

You can say in the note about you don't trust him and rather than working to regain that trust, he just became more secretive.

Leave and go back to your old life. If he loves you then he can always come after you and try and convince you to come back.

Good Luck!! xx
