If so, you might not feel as much when you penetrate her and thus you lose the erection.
Sometimes a condom can help that, sometimes it doesn't. But definitely worth a try.
Sometimes it's the position (maybe her on top can help) as you get a visual along with everything else.

I think this is a problem for your doctor and maybe you need to have counselling if it is an anxiety issue.
It's not normal for it to go flaccid on insertion so you do have a problem here.
Get it sorted out by straight talking with your doctor.
You may be prescribed something if it is a medical condition.
