A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Ok, so i'm an average 17yr old girl and i'm in love. Simple as ... or so I thought.

Here's some more info... I have never been with a guy before and have only kissed in games of spin the bottle.

This new guy walks into my life and we get on really really well. I have hinted several times that I like him more than just a mate but he never seems to respon. My best friend who has grown up with him says it's because he's shy partly because he's never been with anyone before and that I should keep going.

But what if he doesn't like me in that way? I don't want things to et awkward but at the same time I want him to know how I feel. What should I do?

Thanks xx

But what if he does like you too? And you never manage to get together because neither of you could pluck up the courage to ask the other out...

You should go for it - tell him how you feel. Goodluck x
