writes: You probably get this all the time, but I need some practical advice! I like this guy at school, (you know how it is!) but i don't know whether to like make the first move or whatever. I'm really very shy, and would not want to do anything potentially embarrasing. How would I find out if he fancied me, without letting out I like him?

reader, anonymous, writes (30 June 2006): Trust me I feel the same to but if the guy is interested in you look for signs such as eye contact play it cool try approaching him when he is on his own and make a conversation about maybe football,boxing anything you both would common like music.I know saying it is easy but action speak louder then words. until your sure and you think he is worth making a fool of yourself then i say go for it! in the end what you got to lose.atleast you tried who knows the outcome! good luck!!

 Hey Angel,
well that shouldn't be hard, ask a friend preferably a guy friend to ask him what he thinks of you! Get him to market you and if the out come is good, bump into him accidently, make i contact hold it and then walk away.
The next time you see him, say Hi, and if you feel up for it ask him how he's doing. If you do this, it forces him to notice you and gives you time to get to know him!
Being shy can be very attractive to men, men like a bit of a challenge! let him play your game, don't play his!
