I like 2 guys who are friends. How should I proceed?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hi all,

My best friend is dating a guy on our soccer team at college. I spent a lot of last semester in the boys' suite hanging out with my friend and her boyfriend. Because of this, I got to know a few of the players well.

My problem is this.. I've liked one of the players for awhile (I'll call him Joe). He possesses a lot of qualities I want in a boyfriend but I haven't spent much time alone with him. He asked me out to coffee once but that fell through because of conflicting schedules. Other than that, we only went to church a few times together and rarely talk. A few weeks ago, I texted one of the other guys (I'll call him Chris) who lives in the same suite to thank him for a favor he did for me. Since then, we've been texting a lot and now I can't decide if he's someone I could potentially be interested in.

I don't know Chris that well but we get along great and talking to him is easy. At the same time, I would want to see where things could go with Joe. I'm not even sure either of them like me as anything other than a friend! I don't want to cause problems between the two but don't know how to proceed. School hasn't started yet and I want to still hang out with both of them but feel like my feelings are conflicted between the two.

Any advice is much appreciated!

You should get to know them both bettRer as you have an attraction to both of them and then see how you feel. And you dont need to worry about anything.
