A female reader, Girl Pants Singapore +, writes (10 May 2007):

Girl Pants agony auntBe sincere and mean what you say. Eye contact is important too. Don't be afraid to sound silly or stupid, as long as you're being yourself. Confessing to someone about your feelings is NOT an easy thing to do if you really really like her.

So just be yourself and be sincere. She'll feel it in her heart if your feelings are strong enough.. Good luck!

dragonette agony auntBe yourself. That's really the only way to go.

Pardon my curiosity, but why haven't you seen her for such a long time? If you haven't seen her for such a long time, it might be too soon to bring up your strong feelings for her on the first date. Save it for later. Just tell her that you really enjoyed spending time with her and that you hope you can meet again sometime soon.
