Hi All, I have a rather strange Dear Cupid!! I have had a feeling for the last few months that a huge change is in the air in my life and is heading in my direction. I'm not sure what it is, and even my Mum said she can feel it, and she is one of the most practical people you could meet. This 'change' is not showing itself as to what it is , and I am becoming increasingly uncomfortable and scared. I am not neurotic by the way! so don;t get me wrong,as I have never felt like this before, and it won;t go away.It is kind of a half scary feeling. I am bored, frustrated with my job in a way, and excited all at the same time, and I have been using alchohol as a way of numbing this feelin of this tidal wave coming towards me, but am now trying to keep myself buy doing other more useful things. I feel like I am sitting on a ticking clock. It could be good, it could be bad, but whatver it is, I know it will happen this year. Has anyone ever had this before? how hae they dealt with it? Thanks - ;o)

Hello All, thank you for all your helpful answers. I feel much more comfortable after reading them, and yes, you are right - I will not keep numbing this out with alchohol. I;t s actully the time not to do that, it;s time to face my fears I guess, and yes, it probably is a wake up call and sign from the universe. I am trying very hard not to be scared of this whatever it is anymore... it could be something really good, and I now am going to try and keep busy, and look forward to whatever this life changes is.!! who knows.... we;ll see. Thanks -= Nx

Yep. Strange as it sounds, I feel like I am about to have a major change in my life, too. Some of my new age friends have told me that there is an influx of new energy on earth and that now is the time to manifest the things you want in life. You should use this feeling to propel forward so you can get the new job or whatever it is that you want to change in your life. Put down the alcohol and enjoy the excitement and possibility that lies out there!

Frank B Kermit agony auntYes I have.

I took it as a sign from the universe (I know this sounds strange but bare with me) to do all those things that I have been intending to do, but never get around to.

For example, things like learning to change a flat tire, learning how to dance the waltz, learn CPR, getting all those negative character traits fixed in myself...

think of all those things that you say, "I really need to change this" and you say them when a "life moment" happens (to use the examples above, I had those thoughts at: a flat tire, having to sit-out a wedding reception, family member ill, meeting a potential life partner).

An opportunity is coming in the form of a life moment. The moment itself could be good or bad, but it will be something that could change your life for the better.

Make a list of all the things you always said you needed to do, and do them. One of them is going to be it.

Probably starting early 'menopause'thats all. No I have not had that feeling but change is happening all day every day. Whether we notice it or not is irrelevant. It may be that you are using to much alcohol?

Besides most people say that when you go looking for change or expecting it it ain't goner happen.

What does your partner think about this. Let us hope he supports your new love life!!!!!!!!!

Kenj agony auntGoing from your age range, if your coming up to age 42 or 49 then it is possible things are going to change for you, but bear in mind its the future and it has not happened yet.

Try not to dwell on these feelings your having too much as it will make you ill with worry. Dont turn to alchohol either it can become an addiction if your not careful.

Suggest to do more to keep yourself busy, if you cant think of anything then go for a walk to clear your head.
