writes:I'm in 6th grade and I have huge gigantic crush on my 30yr old teacher. I'm actually not sure if it's a crush, maybe it's just a huge admiration. Whatever it is, it's kind of annoying. I love this man so much. Too much. He is such a sweet wonderful person. I'm an A student and we have a good student teacher relationship. When I'm around him I feel very happy but when I think about summer when I must move on I feel a horrible pain. I think about him when I wake up and when I go to sleep. I've had this crush for almost the whole year and it's just grown. I know that my feelings can never be reciprocated. I know that any relationship is very taboo. I'm a smart sixth grader and I know what pedophilia is. I don't see myself marrying this man or anything like that - my fantasies are usually something seeing him in the store or having a heart to heart conversation. Not your average fantasies!The point is I'm unsure about what to do. My feelings are so strong they feel unhealthy. I'm very worried about being depressed in the summer. What would happen if I confessed? Should I talk to someone about this? Like a counselor? I don't know. I sort of want to move on.

 I think you have a very mature view on this and too many young girls here on dearcupid don't recognise a crush when it happens and want to do something about it.
I agree with satindesire, talking about it may help. But it maybe one of those things you'll just have to give time to get over.
