 why do guys believe its impressive to tell a woman that he slept with bare girls. i think you should just tell her it isnt a big deal. plus its best to be honest as lies are to maintain.

reader, anonymous, writes (27 April 2006): Yes. You must be honest with her and hope for her understanding. Explain why you lied in the first place. Your sexual history is something that does affect her, and she has a right to know. My boyfriend didn't tell me he had had sex with some slut who was rumored to have STD's until AFTER we first had sex and I was furious, because that would have had an affect on my decision to have sex with him in the first place. I would say that what you have done in your past is private, but she does have a right to know this. Obviously it is causing you some guilt, so it'd make you feel better to tell her. I really doubt that she would break up with you over it. Even if she did, at least you can say you were honest and tried to make things better. Good luck to you!
