A male United Kingdom age 30-35, *rfunny writes:

Me and this girl are going out for drinks. Might treat her out for a meal too. I think she likes me. If u were a girl what would make u melt without being to lovey. How can I make the evening special also she doesn't live near so I'm not sure where she will be staying as I cannot drive her home drunk (I am picking her up)

I do not want to make assumptions.

Shine the light please ladies

Thank you

A female reader, aunt honesty Ireland +, writes (3 December 2012):

aunt honesty agony auntWell your intentions are right as you do not want to make assumptions therefore I think you should talk to her about this before you go and pick her up. Say you will be drinking and therefore cannot drive her home and ask her would she be able to get a lift home or offer her the option of staying with you if she wants. I guess what makes a date special is just being yourself. Ask her questions get to know her, try and make her laugh. A few drinks will help you both to loosen up and relax and if it goes well then maybe go for food and see how the evening goes. Just be yourself and don't try to hard. Good luck.
