Now he is sick he can't really do anything for himself .We talk to each other every other day . since I got a new job he does't want to talk to me .He really needs to thank his lucky stars that I still talk to him cause at first I hated him but life is too short and I don't want him to feel like he has controll over my life.Its not my fault he is sick .Why is he angry at me? Could be that he is jealous that he isn't able to provide for everyone like perhaps he wanted to? Maybe he is just an ass?

 Perhaps that is the problem here you have a new job maybe he feels you're going to neglect him and feels you may not have any time for him.
I don't think he's blaming you for being ill as you've said it isn't your fault, but perhaps he's worried you'll be more preoccupied and have less time to see him he probably wants you to have more time to see him and be there for him.
