writes: I have this guy friend that i really like. He is always giving me hugs at work and hes really sweet. The only problem is this guy is like totally good looking. I gave him my number the other day just as a friend thing and he said he would txt me his number so i know that its him. Well I that was on tues and now its thrus. Havent heard from him. I say him today at work becuz he came in to get his paycheck and him and this guy were talking and when i walked up i said hi to him just he usual stuff that we say and before he left he walked over to me and said in a sweet voice "come gave me a hug i dont know when im going to see you next".So we hugged. I was going to say something but i didnt want it to come out wrong. Is this a bad sign for him not calling or txting?

 Not necessarily. Men love to "play it cool". They will usually leave some time between getting your number and actually ringing you. But, if you haven't heard anything in the next 2 weeks, I'd say he's maybe not worth worrying about hugs or no hugs. Beware he may just see you as a friend. Good job you didn't say anything, as you would only feel even more rejected if you said something like "why haven't you rung me yet?", especially if then dosen't ring you - embarrassing really! A man who is "really" into you would already be planning to ring you soon (next few days yet) and would be keen to arrange to "see you next". Wait and see what happens. When men are keen they ring or text and they invite you out, but sometimes it takes a week or more for them to do this. Don't be tempted to say anything, you don't want him to think you're that bothered, I mean I'm sure you have plenty of other men chasing after you ! Even if you dont right now pretend you do. Men love a bit of competition.
