writes: I am 16 years old and have a serious issue with talking about sex. I find myself disgusted by the topic of sex, if a friend or family member brings up the topic I almost die of embarrassment. Absolutely everything about sex disgusts me. I hate talking about it, I hate it when it comes on during a movie or something and I literally have to leave the room, my family and friends sometimes joke saying they bet I watch porn but I can't even sit through a movie with a thirty second sex scene, and I feel as though I never want to have sex. Everyone else my age (that I know) is either talking about sex or having sex and I'm still disgusted by it. But don't get me wrong, I'm not immature or silly about it. I just don't like the topic.So is there a reason for it? Any suggestions from anyone would be appreciated. Thank you.

Honestly I don't know what my problem is with sex. It started off with me not liking guys due to someone showing me a picture of someone's penis which I didn't even want to see in the first place. And so that put me off sex with guys even though some guys are still attractive for me to look at facially etc. And then I decided I liked women but even then I didn't want to have sex. Not because of the way two women engage in sex but because I just wanted interested.
So do you have any ideas from that? Thank you again for answering :)

No one hates sex without a good reason for doing so. You may wish to talk to a therapist and see what you can dig up about yourself and why you are so afraid of sex that you cannot sit through a single sex scene, even in a movie.
