Question - (9 February 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 10 February 2009)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

ok so ive met this guy..recently ive had some bad relationships that have ended up goin nowhere and leaving me hurt...so i wanted opinions on this one before i get too involved.

ive known this new guy for a couple of years but nothing ever happened..but he asked me to go out a couple of weeks ago and since then weve met up twice. he seems really nice and he always talks to me and texts me, and he's the one that always asks ME out and not the other way round. he asks me to let him know when i get home from seeing him so he knows i drove home ok and he walks me to my car after ive been to his..he just generally has very nice behaviour.

however..my best girlfriend used to be really good friends with him and said he's never really been the realtionship type. but he has grown up since they were friends..hes left uni and is working fulltime now and doesnt go out all the time like he used to. i just dont want to end up liking him and then him just ditching me. any advice? x

A female reader, nokutenda Zimbabwe +, writes (10 February 2009):

you can't help liking someone. just continue hanging out. if he ditches you then know that it was not meant to be and you have to move on. sometimes we all have to take risks.

hopefully it works out.
