Question - (13 February 2012) 4 Answers - (Newest, 13 February 2012)
A female United Kingdom age 26-29, *alanay1 writes:

There's this girl.

My boyfriend used to really like her, before he met me.

I started their school in September, and I met my boyfriend. We got together, and everything was fine.

Then she started sending me these texts:

""WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. YOUSLEPTWITHATHIRTEENYEAROLD???????????"

And:

"Why did you tell (friend) and (boyfriend) that you did..?"

And:

"It's not bullying? It was a question, 'cause I was wondering if it was true or not?"

And:

"Just, don't hurt (boyfriend). Kthankiesbye :D""

Since then, I really can't stand her.

My boyfriend has told me about the ways that she messed him about- she told him once that she liked him too, then it turned out that she was seeing another guy and had been for a month.

She messed him about really badly, and he was always there for her when she needed someone, but she never gave anything in return.

Then he met me, and he says that I'm the best thing that's ever happened to him and that he loves me more than he could ever have loved her.

The thing is, after hearing about how she treated him, and after the way she acted towards me, I can't help but hate her.

It's horrible, and I can't stand feeling like this.

Does anyone know how I can stop hating her? I don't want to like her, I just don't want to hate her any more.

Deagan agony auntSounds like she's jealous and is trying to ruin your relationship.

Do not talk to her or reply to her stupid text messages to you, you will only fuel the flame to her immaturity.

She's a young girl, if she starts spreading rumors, go tell your teacher or counselor, because she will be told to stop and most girls her age usually get quiet and embarrassed after some sort of authority figure is telling her she's being inappropriate. Girls are scared of getting in trouble, so she will pipe down.

Sounds like you have a nice guy that will stick with you, so just focus on school, focus on avoiding negative people in your life, and focus on having a happy relationship.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (13 February 2012):

Just cut her out of your life, don't speak to her at school anymore and try not to see her if poss. Try not to think about her, delete her texts, her number, block her on facebook. Ask your bf to do the same. She sounds like a sarcastic b**** so be happy when you think about never having to deal with her again.

Over time you will just forget about her but unfortunately there's no magic cure to just stop feeling an emotion or it would already be a worldwide best seller.

A reader, anonymous, writes (13 February 2012):

1) How in the heck did she get your number?

2) Report it to your parents and find an app that blocks her number.

3) It is bullying and a form of taunts, ridicule and malicious so have Mom and Dad address that with School.

4) Let your BF know how you feel about her and to prevent FURTHER drama and contention, ask him to block her as well.

5) Chose to not care about her. You live happy and focus on BF and school. In time she will grow bored and find another target.

6) Any time she oversteps her boundaries- you don't have to be her friend- let Mom and Dad know and seek their counsel. If she still persists, speak to in school counsellor.

Hope all goes well.

Honeypie agony auntIgnore her, when you waste emotions on a person who only wants attention and drama, you let THEM win.

Pretend she doesn't exist.

If she however starts to spread rumors about you ( I honestly don't understand what the text: ""WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. YOUSLEPTWITHATHIRTEENYEAROLD???????????" was about at all.)

However if she starts spreading untrue rumors about you, go to your teachers, your parents and get that crap shot down asap! Other the that, ignore her, delete any texts she sends (unless you can block her number).
