A female Canada age 30-35, *oftlipz writes:

okay my crush danced with me at prom the other night, he was the one who approached me. I noticed that the whole night; him and his friends were staring at me. Even when i was dancing with other guys,i would look around to find him staring at me. While we were dancing; he took my hand and folded his into mine, he kept rubbing my back while slow dancing and rubbing my arms. I was getting the feeling that he liked me too since i was the only girl he danced with for the night. So it turns out that my friend spoke to him last night and he asked her if she did anything after prom then she said: No, i just went home and spoke to Tamara for a bit.(which is me) then he said: how did she say her night was? then she said: she had amaziiinggg night! i saw you guys dancing together, hot hot hot!! then he said: ahaha, i don't want to give the wrong intentions or anything, she's a cool person but yea...

Later on in the convo he said that he just wanted to have fun. So i understand that he wanted to have fun...but i don't understand why he wanted to fold his hand into mine while dancing, rubbing my back, rubbing my arms and out of the whole room, he chose me to dance with...it's just weird...i mean we didn't just dance, it was more than that...i know that when i danced with the other guys, they weren't rubbing my back or folding their hand into mine. i don't know maybe i'm just naive.

well he knows that i like him because i told him a year ago that i liked him, i started liking him because he would use to stare at me all the time so i started noticing him but he said he had a g/f but he would still stare at me after that

A female reader, anonymous, writes (9 June 2009):

I think he may really like you. I think the fact that he said you were a cool person is really nice. But he is hardly going to confess his deeper feelings to your friend, especially if she was making a big thing of it.

Saying he wants to have fun can mean 100 different things, and may simply mean he doesn't want to come on too strong. Depends on the context.

Has anyone told him you have a crush on him?
