reader, anonymous, writes (24 November 2008): Go to your doctor and ask for a test there, explaining you did two already. There could be other reasons you missed your period but you need some professional advice and maybe go to family planning so you understand it all.

reader, anonymous, writes (24 November 2008): I'm not certain but I don't think you can get false positives, just false negatives. If I was you a third one is the best, if its still negative leave it a week then try again.

 Get a third one and do two out of three. Or you can have your doctor run the test for you. It just may be too early to tell.

 okay honey, go in to your doctor and get a blood test, those are always correct. If you dont have medical insurance, I believe plan parenthood can do it cheaply or free. (pretty sure its free) anyways good luck!!! go to planparenthood.com and that may tell you something, im not sure though. good luck!!!!

 hi! false positives and false negatives happen a lot so my advice would be to get another test and another one after that because you can never be too sure. and if it comes up positive, go see your doctor. good luck!
