First thing I would suggest you look at is what age you can legal have sex in your country. It is different from place to place, so at least make sure that you are BOTH of a consenting age. If one of you is a minor and cannot consent, do not do it.
Assuming you are both old enough it becomes an issue of comfort. Someone people are ready for sex right away, while others want to wait. Some wait until marriage because of cultural or religious reasons. There is no right answer. If there are cultural or religious reasons for you both to wait, take them into consideration. I do not know your culture or religion, so all I can advise is that you respect the traditions that you follow.
Assuming you are both old enough, and it is within your culture and religion to do so, then it is when you both feel ready and are prepared for the responsibility that comes with sex (protection for disease and birth control).

Know if she is a virgin as well, and go slow at a comfortable pace for both of you. Do not worry about a lack of skill. The best skill to have is to be enthusiastic as a love partner. Do not rush into sex like a porno. Temp your arousal with her physical pain.

They are all good. Some people like to be able to see each others faces during sex, while others just want to focus in on the sensation of the penetration. Try one, and if it does not feel right, try something else. In time you both will find a position or positions that give you both the most pleasures.
