reader, anonymous, writes (22 April 2008): i think you just give him some time. tell him that you still want to be with him. but know that actions speak louder than words, so prove it to him. stand by his side and show him how much you care and want to be with him. but you should know that it's not going to be easy and he may forgive you for it but he may never forget and hold it against you. and that will make it hard for you, who is genuinely sorry. it'll be hard work, but show him you care about him.
