I can't stop thinking about it---does he like me?

Ok I hate to ask the cliche "Does he like me?" question, but I can't stop thinking about it and it's doing my head in!

He teases me a lot, but in a friendly way. We have really good banter together :) He'll wrap his arms around my shoulders and bury his face into my neck sometimes. Once when I went round his house to watch a horror film with him, and we were cuddling. I moved over to the other side of the couch, pretending to be mad at him for something he said to me. He opened his arms and made a pouty face and grabby hands. And he held my hand throughout the movie, too, even when there wasn't a scary part going on. He was playing with my hair, too. Sometimes when we sneak out in the early hours to see each other, he does it too. Just when we're sat together and we're not talking, he'll start doing it. I went to a party at his house and slept round, and he said I could sleep in his bed if I couldn't sleep downstairs because of the noise. I fell asleep on the floor downstairs and woke up under a quilt with him lying under it next to me. I catch him staring at me sometimes, but I'm so shy I don't tend to look over at him a lot in case he catches me staring, too. When we're in a group he won't leave until I hug him goodbye, even if it makes him late. He talks to me about things that are really personal, and a lot of the time, he's never spoken about it before, not even to his best friend that he's known since he was a kid. He invites me out a lot in the early hours of the morning, even though we see each other during day time, every day. He asks me questions like, "What's your favourite colour?" and compliments me a lot on things he knows I'm insecure about. A few times he's come round before I've put make up on and told me I looked better without it. I've noticed whenever we're in a group he'll sit facing me, if not next to me. When I say something, he'll always be listening, even if others there weren't.

Okay, if you could help me figure this out, that would be fantastic :) And could you possibly tell me any signs I should be looking out for, body language wise? :]

TasteofIndia agony auntWell, it certainly seems like he does. Those are the signs. He's given you plenty of body language signs and all the other flirty stuff.

The problem with these "does he like me" questions, is that we always get a list of every single reason and sign he gives you that he does. But we don't get the other side, the reasons why he might not.

It seems to me that you just need to make a move here and bring this endless flirtatious dance to an end. It could be he just loves having someone to flirt with and that's the friendship you have. But it sounds like he's waiting for you to make a move - I wouldn't waste any more time and just go for it!! Good luck!!

Hello. This sounds very similar to me and my best friend. I play with her hair, hold her arm,put my head on her neck (she does the same to me). But it could be because we both know we don't like each other that way. We both have told each other the people we like (None of us have bf/gf). This guy you're talking about could maybe just be a very genuine friend? I don't know. :). Best of luck with him.
