I need some help, thats why I'm here tbh,

Theres a girl i know from school and she added me on myspace, she's in the year above me and tbh i dont really know her.

Anyway she recently broke up with a guy who I will call George, I added him on myspace and we hit it off straight away.

After chatting for a few days we agreed to meet up. We met up a few days later and saw a film, everything went really well we really got on and we agreed to see each other again.

The second date 3 days later went well, we got to know each other a little better and he asked me to be his girlfriend, of which i said yes to.

The next day I am chatting to him on msn and he is acting very strangely, I ask him what is wrong but he will not tell me.

After a while of looking on his myspace I realise that his ex (who i know from school as i mentioned earlier) has been threatening him. I confronted him and he admitted that since he has been seeing me she has been threatening him and getting guys to try and beat him up.

He told me that until he sorts this out we cannot see eachother but that he really likes me but doesnt want me to get hurt by his ex. I've tol dhim i will always be there for him and hopefully we can get back toghther in the future becaus ei really like him.

Now what i need advice on is how do i deal with this ex?

I cant let her do this to him and i cant see him being hurt like this.

Sorry this post was so long but i really need help with this,

any advice is welcome

xxxxx

A female reader, Midge United Kingdom +, writes (19 March 2007):

Midge agony auntThe only thing you can do really, which is probably not what you want to hear, is get the police involved. He needs to go and have an informal chat with his local police department. They will be best to advise on how to deal with the situation.

Its obvious it will not go away by itself, and its not fair to even think of having a relationship with this hanging over his head. By doing nothing, she will always be in his face even if he tried to have another relationship.

I know of someone that I work with that has this same problem and the only thing they could do was get the police involved. The police were understanding and helpful advising of what they could and couldnt do, so trust me, he needs to deal with this straight away.
