writes:hey thereI really need help!I just started goin out with this lad called lewis who asked me and i said yes 2 days ago, i have never really liked him that much but i said yes becuase i thought why not. but now i really regret my decision you see i got unbelieavbly heartbroken about a year ago and the person who did this has left my school and i havent seen him in nearly a year but the day i said yes to lewis i saw him my first love at a bustop, and i would not stop crying. and i just feel like i feel no umf with lewis and i dont really look forward to seeing him in the morning. but i dont want to hurt him because he really likes me and hes a nice guy. and i know its only been a couple of days of being with him but it just feels really awkward because i am constently thinkin about someone i should have been over years ago. please help no idea wot to do!any help REALLY appreciated thanks guys xxx

I think you might not have given yourself enough time to get over your first love. I think you need to tell lewis that you care about him but that you're not quite over your ex yet and it's stopping you from moving on. That you thought you were ready to move forward but it seeing your ex again made it painful. That way you're not lying to him yet giving yourself an out. Then after that I think you need to stop thinking about pursuing anyone for a while let yourself have fun. Go out with friends and family. Go to movies, read a book, volunteer, join a sport, do anything you can to make yourself happy. Once you do that believe me the right guy will come and you will be ready for him.
