I know this has nothing to do with love and what not.. but I think I have sleeping issues?

I'm definitely a night person and I can stay up really late, even if I want to sleep early. I just find it difficult to sleep. but when I finally do, I sleep for over 12 hours (during summer and weekends) so it sucks since school started because I get 0-4 hours of sleep. ):

but I don't think I have insomnia or whatever because I can sleep.

Well if you are only mentally tired then do something to get your body tired. Go for a run, take the dog for a play in the yard, do some push ups.

It doesn't have to be a full day of exercise, just something to make your body think it's good to lie down for a while. If you are not mentally tired then read a book or watch some TV but make sure you switch off and have a calm down routine before you turn the lights off or you'll just lie there.

Good Luck!! xx

well, it was like this last school year. I'd get about 3 hrs average and then I'd come home do my work and stay up late still everynight. like sometimes I'm mentally tired from school but not physically and then the opposite

Well you just have to get up really early. Force your sleeping pattern in to the place it should be.

Sleeping 12 hours is normal at your age as you are still growing, plus you sound tired if you are missing sleep through the week.

Get up at 6am. Yes 6am, get out of bed and get ready that early, then have a huge breakfast and take the dog for a walk or do some school work, before you set off.

At night time have the computer and tv switched off after 9pm. Read a book or something and have a warm drink. It tires your body out to open all your blood vessels when it's hit with warm liquid so that's why kids pass out when they have warm milk late at night. Get your brain calm and woozy then turn the lights off when you feel tired and zzzzzzzzzzzz. You should start waking up at a normal time if you go to bed with a brain that is tired and not buzzing from tv / internets.

Routine is the best way to trick your body into sleeping well. Your brain has to relax and give into your body's need for sleep.

Good Luck!! xx

Its normal all of it. You sleep a lot because of your age. I'm 19 and I still sleep for 12 hours and I feel dead if i dont. During the summer you more than likely stay up late because of the heat. My guess is that you feel better at night when it cools down. As far as school it hasn't been back long and with time you will get back on a more regular sleeping schedual because your body will tell you when you need sleep. Just dont worry its really normal.

Beybii_Boo agony auntHm...

This is really tough mamasedknockyouout. Im not sure what your sleeping issues are. Well to be honest with you i think you sleeping pattern is really messed and your body is now used to you falling aleep in the early morning. Try and drift of to sleep earlier and waking up and a decent hour.

If this does'nt work got to your local gp or doctor. speak to them and see what they have to say. There could be somehting bugging you. I don't know if you have had any serious accidents which may have caused this. I got hit by a car and my sleeping patterens went exactly the same. If nothing is sorted please go see a doctor.
