writes:okay i started to date this guy jj out of symphathy cause no one likes him and this weekend i started to hang out with this guy i had feelings for like a year ago, and well we clicked and he asked me out and i could not say no and i can't break up with jj until spring break is over and i really like the other guy! and if i told him he'll get hurt cause he told me that cheating on people is one of the worst things to do and i know that but i just did not want to pass the offer up so what should i do? Young lady, it's time to wake up. You have a choice. Dump JJ now, and go with this other guy, or leave this other guy. You cannot have both. Cheating is wrong, and if you do it for no reason, you will look terrible in the eyes of others, and no one will trust you. Since you're going out with JJ because you feel sorry for him, please end it with him. It's cruel to be with someone you don't love. Leave him now, and move on. But do not cheat. Make your choice. Dump him, or lose the other guy. Do not cheat.

reader, anonymous, writes (17 March 2010): Hi i read this and i think that you should chose the person you really want to go out with becuase think about it,cheating on one person is bad but then isn't dating a person out of sympathy worser then that. That person that your dating out of sympathy may one day found out what your doing and you may hurt him by that. When your dating someone isn't it suppose to be because you like him? So if you like the other boy that you liked for years you can chose him. The other boy that your dating because of sympathy , you can let him down easily tell him that some time later he'll get another person that he likes.
