I broke up with my bf to be with someone else. But now I feel like my ex treated me better. Now I don't know what to do!

Hi i've been in a realtionship with my ex for two years and then we broke up because my feelings for him changed. And i met someone else and i told him about this guy and that i wanted to get to know the other guy better.At that time i felt that if my feelings for my boyfriend were that strong i wouldn't feel the need to get to know this other guy better.anyway my ex was very shocked and hurt when i told him but he said he can't blame me and that he will still be there for me no matter what.I've been dating this new guy now for two months but his ex girlfriend still calls him and sends him messages that she loves him.she even wanted him to leave me and take her back.my problem is that i checked his phone that's how i know about it.he told me once he was going to see her and i didn't like the idea.the thing is she can't except that it's over and when i confronted him about it he asked my why can't she still be a part of his life. the diffrence between her and my ex is that my ex respects the desicion i made he even gave ne advice about my new boyfriend.and now i'm having mixed feeleing. this new guy doesn't treat me the way my ex used to and his ex is causing problems.he saw her twice behind my back without telling me.and when i confronted him about it he says i am overreacting.i just feel that if he still sees her and have contact with her she will never let go.i don't know what i should do, dump him and go back to my ex because i know he still loves me.please help?
