A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I had been married for 5 years. My husband has this "friendship" with another woman, but she is really manipulative. He denied having communication with her, but I had found information that show that they are having communication. How can I made him stop having communication with this woman?

A male reader, Denizen United Kingdom +, writes (6 June 2009):

Denizen agony auntGood question and the answer is you can't. You can ask, threaten, cajole...

You can ask the other woman to back off - say it's not helping your relationship.

In the end it depends what his relationship with this other person is about. She may just be a friend and you may be jealous. You can't control your partner's life only your own.
