Please help! I’m a 54 yrs old male and just heard my granddaughter's aunt who's only 15 say to me, I love you! and I know she's not talking about love in the general sense.

BunnyTee agony auntOk, easy...15. there's your first clue. ANYTHING is liable to fall out of a 15 yro child's mouth. Positively anything. If she told you the sky was blue, I suggest you walk outside and have a look. Your 54 makes her 15 WAY off limits, my friend. You probably already know that.

How do you know she doesn't mean it "in the general sense"? What's a 15 yro baby girl know about love outside of the general sense, anyway?

Don't run the risk of ruining your life labelled a pedo-bear!

YouWish agony auntRemember, you are the adult. You are the adult. You are the adult. If she starts acting inappropriately towards you, avoid being alone with her at all costs and notify her mom of what happened. You have to cover yourself.

If she was just being impulsive and silly, you've got nothing to worry about. oh yeah, YOU Are the adult. :)

Just assume she meant it as and treat it like a joke. There's nothing to handle. Just ignore it and act like it's funny, for all you know it was a joke or a game or something.

I've had lots of teenagers, my sisters friends my friends sisters say things like to me as that a joke.
