SalemsWhispers agony auntI wish i could tell you, but unfortunately I am in the same boat as you...the only difference is that nothing has ever happened between the 2 of us....only friendship...he has a girlfriend but she is in a different country for a whole year.....he told me that I am pretty & that if we weren't friends he would flirt...he played a lot of mind games with me...he joked around...he cares about me becoming a better person......up until a few day ago when I told him that I am bipolar he has not spoken a word to me....I feel so hurt & so bad that he has chosen to shine me off without even discussing it with me....So the only thing I could suggest from my experience is to tell her that you need to keep your distance from her for a while...cause you are going through some emotional things & that her being around would make things more complicated...Keep away from her for a while....keep busy so you don't think about her as much & just try to remain strong & positive & try to move forward...that is all I can suggest for now

baby duck agony aunt=)

boy ... I know about that one! You have to take a break from her so you can gain perspective. Tell her the truth as you told us, and tell her you're stepping back because the situation is hurting you.

I did it.
