We both have our own separate relationships, and for a long time I thought I could keep the sex and our friendship separate.But lately I've started to have feelings for him and before I head-over-heels fall for this guy and ruin my entire life, I know I need to break it off.I feel like breaking up with a BF would be easier...I don't know if I should tell him the truth (about my feelings) or just make up some story about how I've grown tired of it (which I obviously haven't).I know he's going to ask questions, so my question is...How do you breakup with a lover?

I would suggest if your relationship with your boyfriend is strong then the most advisable step is to admit it to your boyfriend and tell him you are ending it. Otherwise you could speak to the guy your having the affair with saying that you can no longer go through with it, that you love your boyfriend and want to stay with him and that he has his own partner to think of. I suppose so long as no one else knows about the two of you then if he does start mouthing off about the two of you you could just say he has a crush on you and is jealous of you because your not interested, this is assuming he doesnt have hard evidence. Although to be honest if your relationship with your boyfriend is strong then I would say that the most advisable step is to admit it to your boyfriend and tell him you are ending it.
