writes:My dad introduced me to a kid who works in his research lab, about a month ago. I am 15, and he is 17. I really like him, and I think he likes me. He invited me to come join a club at our high school, and always talks to me (tells me jokes, asks about classes and stuff) when I am in my dad's lab. My parents are cool with me dating him, but he doesn't know that... also, my family is kinda pretentious (my mom's a doctor, and my dad is a prof. etc.), so I don't want him to be intimidated or anything. How do I let him know that I like him, without coming off as being a slu*, or sounding pushy? I'm waaay to shy to just ask him, so any ideas?

Try to get to know him better, and perhaps give him a few subtle hints that you like him. If he likes you back, then he will definitely pick up on them, and respond in some way or other.

 X-mas is coming up so maybe trying to be a secret santa or something that gives him clues to how you feel, that way he doesn't know it's you but it makes him feel notice. Please let me know how this goes and if you have any other questions i would be more than willing to answer.
