You do have to talk to her about it. The best thing to do is to be very gentle and ask her how she feels about sex. Listen to her and DO NOT make her feel pressurized. Let her talk to you about how she feels and see what happens.

Don't act all shy and hesitant because it will make the whole situation seem more embarrassing than it is. However, you should ask about her feelings towards sex, etc, rather than telling her that you want her to have sex with you now. She may not want sex until she's been with you for how ever many years, or until she's married, etc. So you need to make sure you clearly know hers and your views on the matter before you ask for anything.
As for skin tone, that is the wierdest question I've probably ever considered answering. It all depends on the person but I would suggest that as long as you weren't see-through she won't care in the slightest- I've certainly never thought about it.
