writes:right im in a bit of a situation i seem to have developed a bit of a 'daddy complex' and i dont know how to stop it. im 16 and to be honest i dont have the best relationship with my dad ( whihc i believe contributes to this ) but all the men i fancy are a lot older and normally authority figures to me. i fancied my teacher for like a year, that i can deal with, but then ive started getting crushes on other authority figures like docs , this doc is like 40, i really dont know how to stop this and its really getting to me i want to be able to have crushes on lads my own age and to sotp having crushes on inappropiate people. please i really need your help on how to stop this 'daddy complex'

 See a shrink, otherwise you'll end up with an older man that will abuse your self-esteem and end up dieing on you before you're 50.

 Counselling and repairing your relationship with your father are the only ways to stop this. There are plenty of free therpay/counselling services for teenagers & young adults in the UK, have a search on the internet or see your GP who will be able to point you in the right direction.
