writes:My ex boyfriend and i broke up 3 months ago. i left him because my ex was begging for me back and i didn't really think about it. the guy i left him for was a jerk and i broke up with him and now my ex has a new girlfriend. he says he still has feelings for me and nothing has changed but he wants to give this girl a chance. He also says i still have a chance, just not right now.how can i be sure to keep him around and interested without pushing him away from me and further into the arms of his rebound from me?

He's really playing a cruel game by dangling his relationship with her over your head like that; however, you did leave him for an ex. You both need to move beyond the past, and the best way to do that is to walk away and see if he follows, doing the same thing to his current girl that you did to him. Harsh, but that's reality.
