I have told my friend and he said I should tell her how I feel so I did, she was so nice about it and it really showed why i like her so much. since then we've spoke on facebook/twitter and today was our first meeting face to face at college we didn't speak to each other as she was more speaking to her brother(my friend. when I told her i liked her she didn't say if she liked me or not just that I was a really great friend and that she didn't want to ruin that which I agree as well, she acts flirty with me and does things that make me think she does like me as she hasn't denied liking me which tells me she values my friendship more which i appreciate. Its just now I can't get her off my mind every minute i'm thinking of her or something reminds me of her I was at college today and she had been on the same computer as me previously cause she saved a folder to the desktop which straight away I though of her how beautiful she is and now she just uploaded a new photo of herself and I was blown away i've never felt this way for someone before and if she wants a friendship then so do I, i just know im going to do or say something that would ruin things between us how do I react around her?

It sounds like she's not interested in dating you at this time. I wouldn't press the issue with her, but, there's no reason you can continue to be friends with her and at some point you may find she's open to dating you.
If I were you I'd try and get her to come along with you and your friend so you guys can get to know each other better in a fun environment.
