How do I know if I am "moving too fast"?

my question is how do you tell when to make the next move?

cause i was hangin at her house watchin a movie.

i put my arm around her for a bref second and she sits up to take a sip of her drink.

but she waits intel i move my arm to sit back again.

am i moving 2 fast?

Obviously she feels uncomfortable.. take a little more time don't move too fast until you sure she wants you to make a move.. taking time would not hurt anyone =]

Ask her...the only person who really knows the answer to your question is your gal. Communication is the key to any healthy good relationship, so I think its important that you feel comfortable speaking openly with one another, which includes asking questions no one expects you to be psychic.

If you get the feeling you are moving too fast and it feels a little awkward and uncomfortable than you probably are and I'd go with that instinct. Her moving away could be a sign of discomfort, it could be bad timing on your part, or shyness, but there's nothing wrong with asking her and hopefully she'll answer honestly

Need some more info to give any advice. How long have you too been dating? are you sure she sees you as more than a friend and so on..
