writes: hi i have just started going out with a boy the same age as me. we have been going out for a week now and its been great!but my mates are always like "i really actually think hes like inlove with u!"so how do i know if hes actually 'in love' with me or just fancies me?(i know you are probably gonna say he cant b in love with me yet but can we just not talk about that yet, i just wanna know how i would know if he was in love with me). reader, anonymous, writes (22 May 2008): well there is this one guy. everyone said that he loved me and would ask me out. i loved him more than i thought he would ever love me... so i just waited for him. he always stared into my eyes. and then, one day, he didn't. and someone told me that he still liked me, but not that much anymore. i was crushed. bcuz i beleive that he loved me enough to do it himself. and he didn't, and i lost all that bcuz i listened to my "mates". so don't just beleive that. and if he doesn't, just take the time that u hav with him bcuz it mite not b as long as u want it to b... :(

Some signs are wanting to be with the person all the time, wanting to talk about them all the time and sometimes wanting to touch them. Why don't you try going on a date with him and then deeply looking into his eyes to see if he looks back into yours with the same ammount of passion. Try holding his hand.  He would want to be around you 24/7, look lovingly into your eyes for long periods of time, and always find an excuse to touch you.
Love signs can manifest themselves in many different ways, for me my heart starts beating like a rabbit, and i don't know what to say.
If his kisses are slow, gentle, and prolonged, is also a good sign.

reader, anonymous, writes (7 January 2007): if this guys in love with u then u wud wanna love him more, u know like b in a competition with him. u wud like feel bad because he's loving u more than u lv him. and if he loves u, both of u would not be able 2 stop thnkng about each other. to really see if hes in love with you. get him to go like on a date with you. eg: cinema. if he does the arm over ur sholder, hes trying 2 get u 2 notice him, and if he looks straight into ur eyes at any time, then its a sure sign.there are 2 other ways of telling. if he kisses u then he loves u and if u kiss him and he retaliates very quickly then thats it aswell. and well if this guy loves u, that aint so bad is it.
