writes:Hi im 15 and i live in a pretty rough place my school is bad i get bullied all the time and beat up i stick up for myself but theres to many they use weapons too. when i walk home they will follow me and beat me up in the alleys. I dont bother any one but it seems like im never good enough. Theres a girl i like but shes mean to me to she hits me one time she kiked me for no reason while i was on the steps. I have been avoiding going to school for weeks but eventually i will get caught and my grades are terrible im failing everything. ive been looking up home schooling but theres no way i can afford it.Theres a gang i got into a confrontation with they practically threatened to kill me so i cant go back. These kids are bad and theres alot of gangs the teachers are scared of them. you cant go to the cops or nothing like everyone knows everyone i kno alot of people had there houses burned down for snitching. I need to kno if theres a way i can get a diploma without going to school i read alot and im smart i dont learn anything in school i just sit there getting bullied i cant go back if i do it will probably be the last time alot of kids die here so im not joking. Anyone who has advice thanks

 If this weren't so dangerous for you, I would simply say learn to fight and defend yourself. But the odds are very much against you for that by the sounds of it.
Next, you need to consider why you would like a girl that abuses you...the fact that she abused you should signal that you should not be interested in dating her. Furthermore, if you are that much of a target in your school it is possible that she hit you because she knew you liked her, and she was afraid of becoming a target herself.
As for finishing school:
1-transfer to another school
2-ask to live with a relative in another city or state to finish school there
3-go visit the colleges/trade schools etc... that you would want to attend after high school and find out what they require. some of them do not need a diploma as they make you go through an extra year to take make up courses. Others want you to have worked for 2-3 years before applying.

4-don't just not go to school. find work. even a paper route. get references and some legit money coming in. you will need those things sooner than other kids
5-learn to fight. even if you get away from these bullies, the underlying problem still exists that you do not defend yourself.
6-talk to your parents

 The main thing is your safety. If you truly fear for you life, you don't need to go back to that school. Have your parents contacted your school system to see if there are other schools you can transfer to?I don't know where you live, but in my city the local community college accepts high school students and lets them earn college credits while they complete their high school graduation requirements. Since you're smart,this may be an option for you. Also,how close are you to turning 16? You may want to look in Job Corps. It will get you out of your neighborhood, help you finish school and help you learn a trade.
