Me and my boyfriend of 3 years broke up 2 months ago, we noticed it wasn't working out. We also have an 8 month old daughter together. I thought it would be easy to get over him but it's not. It hurts me to even think about letting him go and I don't want to but I have to, I don't know what to do! How do I get over him?

AlextheOdd agony auntStay strong girl! If you have a daughter she is going to need a strong-willed supportive mother to look up to. I would make a deal with your ex now, make sure he visits your daughter regularly and the such. He must already feel guilty for leaving even if he doesn't show it. Also, try meeting guys online and around your town. It's going to be hard to find a guy the same age as you looking to take care of a child but thats a burden you decided to take a long time ago. I would try to raise your daughter single until you reach 20 or 21, you can usually find men around that age who are looking for a relationship. If you can't find one soon, don't worry, just focus on making sure your girl is in good care.
