writes:Should I contact my ex or not???My ex broke up with me. Butttt it was partly my fault. I kind of influenced him to break up with me. See we had a fight because I wouldn't do something for him (which went against my values) which he wanted me to do. So I said to him "what does this mean then, do you want to break up?" He didnt say yes or no. He said hes confused. I kept bringing up that same question, not geting a yes or no answer. Then eventually he said yes. Then he took it back saying "I dont know what i am saying, i am tired, i dont want to say anything i will regret in the morning, so i dont know". I told him I was hurt that he was unsure and that he should know if he wants to be with me or not. He then suggested we go on a break, so he can have time to think. And I said im not going to put myself through a break, we need to sort this out now. Eventually I talked him into giving me an answer and he said yes he wants to break up, but wants to remain friends. I pretended I was okwith the breakup. The next day he contacted me saying he still cares about me and wanted to see how I was doing. I pretended everything was ok. I didnt want him to know how much it hurt me. I havent heard from him since and I cant stop thinking about him. I miss him so much! I want to know if he misses me too? Is it a bad idea if i contact him? If i do contact him what do i say? Im to afraid to make myself vulnerable by saying i miss him, but if i put on a brave act, he might not show his true feelings too if he does miss me.Im afraid of confronting him and finding out that he actually does not miss me and does not want me back. If that happens I will have to start all over again, from the moving on process. How do i tell if he does want me back or at the very least misses me?

 You don't say how old you are, or what is is that he wants you to do. Is it a sexual act or a criminal act? I guess it will be one or the other. Whatever, people who care about you don't pressure you into doing things you don't want to by emotionally blackmailing you, which is what he's doing.
