advice anyone, i have been talking to a friend of a friend for sometime now and i really like her and she really likes me. we have met loads but other people always been there with us. we are going on a date next week and we are both really shy and when i run out of things to say i come out with the corniest of lines :S when i get to know someone i am more easy to talk to but naturally on first dates i do tend to feel uneasy about keeping conversation going face to face with a person. what kind of things can i talk about....things dont naturally flow to me. how do any of you keep date conversations going without looking stupid?

cheers

Have you been watching that controversial TV programme (fill in name here- I'm british, can't help you) It's really interesting don't you think?

My Dad said the oddest thing the other day blah blah blah. Am I the only one with parents that weird?

You only need a couple of little anecdotes to fill up the awkward pauses!
