How could I win her back or should I let sleeping dogs lie?

Hi,

I recently split up with a girl I was going out with for about 3 months. I guess the main reason was that I wasn't sure if we had enough common interests. She kind of agreed but we were both a bit upset.

I'm still in touch and have met, just the two of us, a few times since. A couple of times going to see a bit of classical music which she likes.

I'd like to get back together and ideally settle down long-term with her. We do get on very well and she's very witty, intelligent and sweet. The problem is that I'm afraid if I ask her and she says no, our friendship will be effected. She seems happy to meet me as a friend for what might be construed as dates so I'm not sure if she's still interested. Although I did notice at the last concert we went to, she didn't like too much touching and arm grazing.

I guess my question is, how could I win her back or should I let sleeping dogs lie?

J.
