writes: I met this guy at a wedding, he was the Best Man and I was the Maid of Honor. We hung out all night and he made gestures that made me think he likes me. The problem is, he lives 3 hours away from me and im afraid im falling for him. We just talked the other night and he didnt really make an effort to start conversation but i think its just because hes shy. What do i tell him that will show him i like him, but wont make it awkward because im not sure he likes me, maybe hes just a nice guy and doesnt want to hurt my feelings?I'm desperate for advice, let me know what you think.

reader, anonymous, writes (30 October 2009): Let him have your phone number and tell him if he'd like to ring sometime it would be nice to hear from him. That puts no pressure on but makes him feel welcome. Then it's up to him and you're not coming on too heavy.
