How can I let this girl know I like her without making it obvious?

hi,

i have a problem i realy realy realy like this girl, she is 16 and im 19. How can i get this girl to notice that i like her without making it obvious(im not one of these guys that can just go up to a girl and ask them out) ? She is a cadet an im an assistant leader of the cadet unit which might make things awarkard which i dont want, i can get around this? how can i let her know i like her without makin it obvious?

dummyduckling agony auntwell... first of all just start talking to her get to know her as friends first, go out and about down the town or where ever u hang... and say little compliments to her like " thats a great outfit you have on today ( insert name here)" and flirt a little bit. keep doing this for a while and im sure she will get the message, and i dnt think that the rankings in your cadet unit will make a difference, im in the cadets and i dated my lancbomberdeir (cnt spell) that didint make a differance. i really hope that helped.
