smeedle agony auntI am a little puzzled, you say your friend took the test and has no answer, why not, they say pregnant or not pregnant, do you mean that she is being told by the test that she is not pregnant but has still not come on her period, if this is the case then a trip to the GP is needed so they can do another urine test and a blood test if needed.

Oftern stress can make us not come on, or the fear or belief that we are pregnant, but what ever it is it needs sorting out.

Does she want to be pregnant is this it ?

As other agaony aunts have said, go to GP or family planning, get this sorted.

willywombat agony auntHome pregnancy tests can sometimes give you a false negative result, as they are not sensitive enough. But they NEVER give a false positive.

Go to your GP or family planning clinic with your friend and support her whatever the outcome. There are staff there who will be supportive and helpful.

keep trying the urine test but if you want to be sure get a blood test taken that will tell you if you are or not.

Find out if there is a family planning clinic in your area and encourage her to go there and get tested.

Alternatively, encourage her to see a doctor if she is really uncertain about.

I'm not really a huge fan of the home pregnancy test - they can be a bit iffy - if possible I think it is best to see a doctor or someone at a clinic who can help your friend/

You can also obtain information there on some of the options for her if she is pregnant including support services etc.

It never hurts to know this stuff in case of an emergency and if your friend is pregnant you are armed with some information which can help her.

Good luck
