 I have this problem all the time, and I have found out that the easiest way to fix it is by getting enough confidence worked up and just start a conversaton. Start with "Hey" its easy, and a good tip for keeping a good conversation going is to avoid talking about yourself or him. Try talking about something that has to do with your sences. Like if your at dinner maby start with "hmm it smells good. I wonder what there cooking?" or something like that. I learned about this is my Phycology class (its a class where you study people and the reason they act the way they do) and tryed it out and trust me. It works
